Kemimoto Mirrors: The Ultimate Upgrade for Your Motorcycle - Here's How to Install Them

If you’ve been following us for a while, then you know that we love modding our rigs. We’ve put everything from tires to roof racks to a sound system on our 2020 Can-Am X3 and 2018 Can-Am Defender, and we maybe got carried away.

Thankfully, Kemimoto stepped up to bring us back to earth by sending us a modification that’s a bit more tame than we’re used to. It sent us its mirror set, which includes a rearview mirror and two side mirrors, to install onto our X3.

The great thing about the mirrors is that they fit a wide variety of side-by-sides. As long as your roll bar is made of 1.6–2-inch tubing, then the mirrors will work. We tried them on a few UTVs we currently have in our Knoxville shop, like our Can-Am X3, a 2023 Kawasaki KRX4, and a 2023 Honda Pioneer 1000-6, and they had a perfect fit every time.

The only two UTVs that seemed incompatible were our 2018 Can-Am Defender and 2023 Can-Am Commander, which is due to the vehicles’ uncommon roll bar design. If you’re worried about getting mirrors for those rigs, Kemimoto has plenty of mirrors available for just about every major UTV, they’re just not as universally compatible as the mirrors we have.

These aren’t just mirrors, though, as the two side mirrors have lights embedded in them. It also comes with all of the necessary connections to wire the lights into turn signals, which are required to make your side-by-side road legal. Even if you have no interest in driving your rig on pavement, the extra lights are always handy.

Installation of the mirrors was quick and simple. Just unscrew the Allen-head screws with the included wrenches and attach the mirrors to the A pillars and you’re set. The mirrors are fully adjustable with up/down and left/right movement.

However, to adjust them you need an Allen wrench to loosen the joints, which is just another tool to keep in a tool pouch that could’ve been left at home.

We got around this by loosening the joints just enough to where we could move them with our hands but the mirror would stay attached and hold its position.

If you’re in the market for a set of mirrors and turn signals for your side-by-side, the Kemimoto mirrors are a great option. It even has a store on Amazon, meaning that you can get free shipping on your order if you have Amazon Prime.

Along with mirrors, it offers a great selection of storage and lighting modifications for most major manufacturers, including Can-Am, Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, and CFMoto.
