    FAQs

    Glass Rear Windshield Buying Questions

Review the questions most likely to affect a Polaris General 1000 / XP 1000 soft windshield decision.

Which vehicle application is the rear windshield designed for?

The intended application is Polaris General 1000 / XP 1000 soft; verify the exact model year against the fitment information.

What difference does the rear windshield make for trail exposure?

The rear windshield intercepts part of the rain and water spray, mud, and dust encountered on work roads and trails.

Does the rear windshield create a fully sealed cab?

Expect a barrier against rain and water spray, mud, and dust, not complete cab enclosure.

    Which installation detail deserves attention?

The zipper closure method works best with even positioning across the frame.

    Which panel material is used?

Panel construction is based on Glass. Use gentle, non-abrasive care.
