As the most populous and third-largest state in the United States, California is sure to have brave riders. On your UTV ride, you'll experience a variety of wilderness areas, from coast to alpine, desert to mountain. We've chosen to round up a few spots in this list that we feel can't be missed.
1.Baldy Mesa
Location: Santa Fe Road, Phelan, CA 92371
Dates Open: Year-Round
Residents of any state not listed must purchase a Nonresident OHV Use Permit.
Fees: $5/Parking
A CA OHMVR stickers is required, the desert terrain is the main climate type here and for the permit is need, call before you haul.
2.Cahuilla Creek MX
Location: 50100 Hwy 371, Anza, CA 92539
Dates Open: Summer Hours: Wednesday 8am-2pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-2pm; Winter Hours: Wednesday 9am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-3pm
Fees: $30/rider
This motocross trail is mainly allow ATV to ride, UTV is permitted on off-road loop. Camping permitted during special events.
3.Lake Elsinore Motocross Park
Location:31919 Cereal Street, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530
Dates Open: Wednesday 8am-1pm, Friday 8am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-3pm
Fees: $30/rider, 50cc - $25/rider, flat track - $40/rider
This park is open for all levels riders, and are well maintained. Here has a noise limit and only motorcycles and dirt bike is permitted.
4. Glen Helen
Location: 18585 Verdemont Ranch Road, San Bernardino, CA 92407
Dates Open: Tuesday 8am-2pm, Thursday 8am-dusk, Saturday 8am-2pm, Sunday 8am-2pm
Fees: $30/OHV(riding)
Camping is allowed to be anywhere, and here has the other ATV Stickers accepted rules which can check on the official website. The park is open for practice in certain time.
5.Argyll MX Park
Location: 4975 Rio Dixon Road, Dixon, CA 95620
Dates Open: Thursday 2pm-dusk, Saturday 9am-2pm, Sunday 9am-2pm
Fees: $35/rider
This park is only allow motorcycle and dirt bike to ride, and the camping is prohibited.
