1.Benson Ridge

Location:  Upper Rio Penasco Road, Cloudcroft, NM 88317

Dates Open:  Year-Round

Fees: $30/OHV(fee covers one driver and vehicle)

A NM OHV Permit is need and residents of any state without an OHV registration program must purchase a Nonresident OHV Use Permit. With a 17 miles of trail, it is mostly popular with amateur.

2.Big Burro Mountains

Location: Homestead Road, Silver City, NM 88061

Dates Open:  : Year-Round

Fees: $30/OHV(fee covers one driver and vehicle)

It’s a huge place with 500 miles of trail, most of the terrain are desert. The elevation changes is huge from 6400 to 7000 feet. Most of the land is hard pack and steep hills.

3.Caja Del Rio

Location: County Rd 62, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Dates Open:  Year-Round

Fees:  Free

The pack offers about 20 miles of road and mostly hard packed and rock, the elevation of the forest is also a big challenge. It’s nice to novice.

4.Farmington Dunes OHV Area

Location: 2300 Bisti Hwy, Farmington, NM 87401

Dates Open: Year-Round

Fees:  Free

This terrain is about 800 acres with 20 miles of trail. For sand is cover mostly, paddle or sand tire recommended for the best experience.

5.Hackberry Lake Dune Area

Location:Shugart Road, Carlsbad, NM 88210

Dates Open:  Year-Round

Fees:  Free

Here is no fee charged for any campaigns. All types of vehicles are welcome. NM OHV Permit is need.
