The state of Connecticut offers some of the most unique and challenging off-road experiences. It might be difficult to find places to ride, but here are available spots that provide excellent adventures for all skill levels. Find it out!

1.Backyard Adventure UTV Tours

Location:  30 Allyndale Road, Canaan, CT 06018

Dates Open: Daily 9am-5pm (weather permitting during winter months)

Fees:  One hour guided tour - $119, additional passengers - $20/each. Two hour guided tour - $238, additional passengers - $40/each. One and half hour tour - $179, additional passengers - $30/each. All prices include 1 driver.

This trail provided rental vehicles only, personal vehicles are prohibited. Children permitted to ride along with a parent as passengers.

2.Central Cycle Club Inc

Location: 45 South Cady Lane, Central Village, CT 06332

Dates Open:  check website for schedule

Fees: $40/ rider (fee for non-members during scheduled open practice days)

Open to members only, first you need to join the club and check for the schedule of official website before haul. Overnight parking is permitted during events camping is permitted at anywhere but campfire is prohibited.

3.Pachaug State Forest

Location: Spaulding Road, Plainfield, CT 06374

Dates Open:  open daily except during mud season

Fees: Free

This place is large of 58 miles and only open at mud season. That’s why it is a good choice for dirty ride lovers. Only motorcycles and dirt bikes are permitted to ride here.

4.Thomaston Dam

Location: 331 Hill Road, Thomaston, CT 06787

Dates Open:Late May through October 14 (weather and reservoir flood management operations

Fees:  Free

This scenic area is only open for motorcycles and dirt bikes only, camping and campfire are prohibited. Night riding is also not allow.
